To learn how to put an image in your posts, the procedure is as follows:
1)Type the following: [image]http://
2) Paste in the URL for the image you'd like to use.
3) Type the following: [/image]
4)When you're done, click the checkbox marked "Preview" next to the Add Post button, and you will see a preview of your post. If you make a mistake, scroll down to the message area and start with step 1 again.
Please note, some web hosts do not allow remote linking to message boards. Geocities and Tripod are two places that don't allow it. Many photo storage sites don't allow linking, either. If you have a host that does not allow remote linking, you will get a red X instead of an image in your post. You'll have to find a place that allows it, then repeat the procedure starting with step 1.
Also, you cannot link images that are stored on your hard drive. You must find a web host that allows remote linking. A few places that, at the time of this post, offer remote linking are:
Photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com)
Netscape (http://mywebpage.netscape.com/)
and Mac.com (http://www.mac.com/).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To use a photo under your name, the procedure is as follows:
1)Find an image that you'd like to use, and find a suitable web host for it. The default size for Ezboard images under names is 60 x 60 pixels, but that default size can be manipulated to a maximum of 200 x 200 pixels. Having images of this size is allowed, but not recommended.
2)Once you have an image, go to your Control Center for your Ezboard profile. To do that, there is a link on each main forum page that says "My Control Center." Click that, and you will be taken to your Control Center.
3)In your Control Center, click the Edit Profile link.
4)In the box underneath the words My Photo, paste in the URL for your image. If it's 60 x 60 pixels or any image that's a square, click the Save Changes link at the bottom of the page, and you're set.
5) If your image is of irregular dimensions, like the image of Jennifer Connelly is under my name, there's a few more steps to take.
6)Paste the URL to your image into the box as described in step 4, then press the space bar and type the following: WIDTH=X
7)Then press the space bar and type the following: HEIGHT=X
Where the letter X is, type the number that corresponds to the width and height of the image. For example, the Jennifer image under my name has the following dimensions: 106 pixels by 140 pixels. In the box of My Photo for my profile, the text looks like this:
http://homepage.mac.com/darthscreencapture/JC/hulk01.jpg WIDTH=106 HEIGHT=140
That's all there is to making an image fit under your name. Click Save Changes, and you're set.
Please note, just don't pick any large image and paste it in with correct dimensions. Actually create a smaller version and find web space to have it hosted at. There was a poster recently who had a large image as her photo with correct dimensions, but not resized. The original photo was almost 1 MB in size and took forever to download on my fast connection. She posted several times, and for folks with slower connections, I imagine it would have been very tough to handle. Once she was asked to change it, she did so, and edited her posts to remove the large image. It was very kind of her to do that, btw.
Alternatively, you can place an image in the center of your signature by doing the following:
1)In your Control Center, select Account Preferences.
2) Check the checkbox next to the Use Custom Signature line.
3)Select the button that says EzCodes, then type the following:
[center]
[image noborder]http://
4)Now paste in the URL for your image.
5)Then type the following.
[/image]
[/center]
That's it. Click Save Changes, and you're done.
There is no theoretical limit to what size images you can put in your signature, but anything over 235 pixels in height is too large.
Last, some folks have taken to loading several small images in their signatures next to one another, and I would like to politely recommend and request that you not do this. Consolidate all of your images into one image to save downloading time for folks with slower connections. Also, some formatting bugs on Ezboard's side can cause these multi-image signatures to be posted out of order.

How to attain a "title image".
If you'd like an image in the space directly underneath your name and above the # of posts you have made here, an image similar to the Quality Service Since 1992 image I have, please go to the Board Business drawer and post a request for me in the Custom Titles thread. The maximum size image allowed in what is called a title image is 150 pixels in width by 60 pixels in height. Your image *must* fall within these guidelines to be used. Anything outside of these ranges will not be accepted.
The placement of these images is a function of my role as board administrator, and cannot be done on the poster's side.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Images larger than 10 x 10 pixels next to names are not allowed at this board. Repeated abuse by many posters and thread distortion are why this is so. Ezboard will not respond to requests for limits similar to those in place for personal photos, so they are effectively disabled at this board and will not be turned on.--

Hey man, won't you kick me down some luck
Hey man, watch your language, motherfuck
